Qigong is a relaxing, meditative exercise with origins in China. It is practiced to improve physical and emotional health and to reduce stress and tension. Turtle Longevity Qigong (from the Wang family in Beijing) combines slow, repetitive movements with sitting and standing postures, stretching, and visualization. Classes are taught by Laura Ocker, L.Ac. and are offered through the Clackamas Community College Community Education Program and the North Clackamas Parks & Recreation District.
